I did write a post about the wonderful Shoebox campaign last year and I am writing again this year because I truly believe it is a wonderful thing and I would like to hear and read more about beautiful, wonderful and positive things.
Am scris și anul trecut despre această minunată campania (ShoeBox - cadoul din cutia de pantofi), scriu și anul acesta pentru ca într-adevăr mi se pare ceva absolut minunat și-as vrea să aud și să citesc mai des despre lucruri frumose, lucruri pozitive.
I know many of my Romanian readers already know about this campaign, but there are some of them and many of you that maybe haven't heard about it until now so let me give you a brief introduction (for the long version you can access the campaign website: shoebox.ro): in my beautiful country there are a lot of children that heard about Santa and the gifts he leaves under the tree every single year only from books or from what others told them, these beautiful children are either orphans, either come from broken homes or are very, very poor, many of them have never experienced the joy of receiving a gift so this campaign is an initiative to help these children, to bring a smile and a moment of joy in their lives. Of course none of this would be possible without the help of the amazing people behind ShoeBox and the wonderful people that help every year. So let's do it again this year, let's bring some joy in the life of these unfortunate children.
Sunt sigură ca deja mulți dintre voi știți despre ce este vorba, însa pentru cei care nu au auzit încă despre această campanie dați-mi voie să vă explic pe scurt (pentru varianta lungă am să vă invit să accesați site-ul campaniei: shoebox.ro): pentru că în țara asta a noastră frumoasă mulți copii aud doar din povești despre cadourile pe care Mosul le lasa sub brad in fiecare an, acești frumoși copii fie sunt orfani, fie provin din familii dezorganizate sau sarace, mulți dintre ei nu cunosc bucuria primirii unui cadou așa că această campanie este o ințiativă de a ajuta acești copii, de a aduce un zambet si un moment de bucurie în viața lor. Bineințeles că nimic din tot ceea ce se întampla nu este posibil fără ajutorul celor din spatele acestei campanii, organizatorii cât si oamenii cu suflet bun care an de-a randul se implică. Așa că vă invit și anul acesta să participați, să aducem puțina bucurie în sufletul unor copii care au avut parte de o viața grea.

This year (I don't remember if last year was the same), there are drop-off locations in the following countries: England, Belgium, France and Germany, but you can also mail them if you don't have a drop-off location near you and you want to help, for more info about the locations click here: Locations.
Anul acesta (nu-mi aduc aminte dacă și anul trecut a fost la fel) există locatii de primire a cadourilor și-n urmatoarele țări: Anglia, Belgia, Franța și Germania, lista completă a locațiilor o gasiți aici: Locații.
The campaign started on the 15th of November and you can drop-off or send your boxes until the 13th of December. I hope this year a lot more people will get involved :)
Campania a inceput pe 15 noiembrie și puteti să aduceți cutiile pana pe 13 decembrie inclusiv! Sper ca anul acesta să se implice cât mai multa lume :)
